Abstract
Abstract: This article analyzes the pedagogical presence in Don Bosco’s Preventive System through the lens of Levinasian ethics, using a narrative literature review. It explores the convergence between the categories of these systems to propose an integrative and student-centered educational approach. Don Bosco’s Preventive System emphasizes reason, religion, and loving-kindness in youth education, while Emmanuel Levinas’s philosophy highlights ethical responsibility toward the other. By integrating these principles, this study seeks a pedagogical practice that values the student’s dignity, autonomy, and uniqueness, promoting a more humanized and ethical education. This research aims to inspire reflections and practices that strengthen contemporary education, offering a new perspective on the educator’s role and relationship with the student in the educational process.
