Collaboration between researchers plays a fundamental role in scientific development, especially in academic institutions that seek to improve their indicators. This study sought to investigate the scientific cooperation network formed by employees of the Federal Institute of Rondônia (IFRO) during the period from 2010 to 2021, with the aim of understanding what academic production and co-authorship patterns are like at the institution. Through the analysis of data obtained on the Lattes Platform and using tools in Python language, networks of co-authors were created that reveal the academic connections that exist within IFRO. The results indicate that, despite the increase in the number of publications, more than half of the servers still do not actively participate in the collaboration network. Furthermore, scientific production is centralized in a small group of researchers. In this sense, it is essential that the institution implements strategies that encourage scientific cooperation to increase productivity and strengthen the academic development of IFRO.
